Kipp’s Bits
* GOB scenarios need to be processed regarding balance between equal and equitable. Meeting first with Network Superintendents, then with small group of principals.
* Equipment donations – Some equipment has not been returned. Additional laptops and printers and networking/phone equipment coming in. Once the equipment is all identified, we’ll ask schools to apply for it, with a factor for need. Manual student laptops will be distributed to students through the Futures Centers at high schools, 5 to each traditional high school.
IMS/DPMS Update
* Original timeline is too aggressive and will now start with 120 or so early adopter teachers first as a Spring focus, with school pilots next Fall.
* Demo of admin portal next week for ET. Instructional Superintendents will be updated this week.
* Teacher portal page will be rolled out along with IMS/DPMS.
ILT Projects
* School contacts were copied on the back of the agenda. If contact is direct to you, please let Jodi know so she can keep the master list up to date.
Gaggle.net
* Training is Wednesday (new admin) and Thursday (refresher) of this week. Process of uploading kids should be revisited. Following the training, email can be sent to the teachers with contact info for their school to let them know Gaggle.net is available. Usage reports are available for our review. Second semester training will be explored. Student integration for transfer of students and new students will be explored.
Promethean Update
* Brown went in successfully, Traylor gets installed this week. Brown had one box that didn’t work. Second tier schools will be funded in January.
ET Meeting Professional Development Topics
* Summary distributed. Matthew will align the offers with the requests to identify the gaps. Candy will provide a short overview of iRead next week.

* HS principal meeting video around the ‘look-fors and best practices’ when conducting walk-throughs. Word walls, classroom arrangements, and one more, were taped. Candy edited. It will be put up on a server.
